Every piece of Burleighware has been hand made in England since 1851. Burleigh skilled artisans turn raw malleable clay into the glossy vibrant tableware.  Printed tissue paper is applied by hand and fired into the pottery so the beautiful designs never wear off like mass produced china can. Beware of cheap copies, this is the original Burleighware Blue Calico and the highest quality.

Sustainably made using traditional hand made techniques, the only pottery in the world still using this technique. Burleighware Blue Calico dinnerware and tableware becomes treasured family heirlooms.
