Every piece of Burleighware has been made in Stoke-on-Trent, England since 1851. From start to finish; Burleigh craftspeople turn raw malleable clay into to the glossy vibrant tableware you see here. Hand crafted using skills passed down through generations of potters who worked at Burleigh. Hand made in England since the 1800's, each piece is unique. The design is fired into the pottery so it can never wear off ensuring Calico pieces last generations as family heirloom collections.

Blue Calico is inspired by 19th century indigo fabric. The rich cobalt tones and scrolling blossom design complement casual family dining or special occasions.
